the grass was aflutter
in a struggle for light by a ghostly dragonfly
as it tries to dry its dew-laden wings tis a good thing it's camouflaged so well

lots of dragonflies and butterflies in the yard this morning; i'm takin it as a good sign that my week of house troubles is over, time to sit back, enjoy the light, green everywhere, blue skies and lake breeze with a *sigh* of relief :]

Lucky you. It has been awhile since I have seen dragon flies around my home.
That is what I appreciate about your blogging....you see the richness in the small and what other will consider the mundane.
simple things are always some of the best things. I watch the birds here sometimes as they come and feed...
nice, i dont get to the lake so often these days so i'm missing out on dragonflies.
I had one hitch a ride on my life jacket today in the strong wind, pretty little blue one
